Dr. Demetri Economos Joins VitaliSee as Senior Physiologist

Senior Naval Commander joins VitaliSee’s mission to reveal human potential

Coralville, IA (Aug. 25, 2021) – VitaliSee, a division of Malum Terminus Technologies Incorporated that developed an artificial intelligence (AI) software platform to optimize health and human performance and prevent injuries, announced today Demetri Economos has joined their mission as Senior Physiologist. With nearly 30 years as a Senior Commander leading physiological research for the U.S. Navy, Economos will be responsible for strategic planning, human systems research and development, and building upon VitaliSee’s partnerships with the U.S. Department of Defense and University of Iowa.

“Demetri brings a wealth of experience to the VitaliSee team,” said VitaliSee CEO Scott Keplinger. “His depth of knowledge in health and human performance and his analytical approach to data and problem solving is truly special and will provide measurable results in reducing injuries and improving human performance.”

Dr. Economos brings three decades of experience in the fields of aerospace, diving, and infantry physiology with a focus on test and evaluation of man-mounted systems and human systems integration.

Dr. Economos will be responsible for strategic planning, proposal development, analytical support, research and development, and test and evaluation within VitaliSee’s efforts. He will also be teaming with ergonomists, industrial/occupational medicine executives, human resource departments, and other healthcare industries. He will team with VitaliSee’s Senior AI Research Scientist, Dr. Kyle Peterson, to leverage next generation artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

Dr. Economos holds a Ph.D. in Physiology from the Universite’ de Sherbrooke – Faculte’ de Medecine, a M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College, and a M.Ed. in Health Education from the University of Cincinnati. For more information, visit vitaliseeai.com.
